Slow cyclists meet fast cyclists

My biking buddy Russell and I are biking up to Snoqualmie Pass for an overnight and ran into the Seattle Century riders on Saturday.

Our loaded touring bikes stood out in stark contrast to their lightweight machines.

We were each enjoying our different styles of cycling on a gorgeous summer day.

Snoqualmie Falls, where we met them, is about 65 miles into their century. This is about where they turn around and head back to Seattle.

Russell and I have a good 30 to 40 miles to go ourselves... all up hill.
