Bicyclist killed on Juanita Drive in Kirkland (WA); Victim identified

An as-yet unidentified bicyclist was struck from behind and killed by an 18-year-old driving a pickup truck in Kirkland on Friday afternoon.

The crash happened at 3:45 p.m. as the bicyclist was heading north on the 8600 block of Juanita Drive, an arterial road through the area and a popular route for cyclists on the Lake Washington Loop.
