Our Models Like Bikes: Part 1.

Our Fall Cyclosource has hit mailboxes and gear orders for cooler adventures have started to roll in.

When flipping through catalogs, I always wonder what the models are like in person. I wonder what their real lives are like. Do they really love climbing? Skiing? Would she wear that dress in real life?

Thus comes a little series called "Our Models Love Bikes." Most of the faces (and a couple backsides) you see in our latest Cyclosource are our friends. And they don't just pretend to like bikes for the camera ... they like bikes in real life.

Flip to Page 22:
Madeline likes bikes.
You may or may not be able to recognize her by her backside, but on page 22 you'll find our Tours Department's Madeline McKiddy. Madeline loves her bike so much, she's one of the car-less employees we proudly boast. When she's not helping cyclists on guided tours or taking a tour herself, she's leading tours!

Soon after she takes her bike respite and goes on the Black Hills Inn-to-Inn Tour, she'll be leading our Vermont Inn-to-Inn Tour. (Can you tell she's a fan of our Inn-to-Inns?)

Flip to Page 10:
Evan likes bikes.
Full disclaimer, Evan Smith is my bearded manfriend ... but he really does like bikes. He's been a great sport helping out Adventure Cycling in any way he can, which does not exclude modeling.

If you want to go on an adventure that is gorgeous and gives back, you should join Evan on the California Climate Ride. He'll be helping out with logistics and bike maintenance. Just follow the loudest laugh and you'll find Evan ready and excited to assist.

Paul likes bikes.
Paul Hansbarger is another Tours Department rockstar. When he's not getting permits for our guided tours or making sweet handlebar bags, he's (also!) leading tours. He's getting excited about this year's Big Bend Loop Tour that he's leading in October. Unfortunately, the tour is full for this year, but next year's Big Bend Loops were just released and you should sign up quick because spots will go fast!

Paul loves getting out of the office and getting on his bike. Leading tours that he helps plan are a bonus for him. If leading a tour sounds like something you would get psyched about, check out our Leadership Training Courses. They are the first step towards leading an Adventure Cycling tour! (They also make a super sweet gift for the cycling leaders in your life.)

Thanks for tuning in to this edition of "Our Models Like Bikes." There's plenty more in the pages of your latest Cyclosource, which we plan to tell you about at a later date.
