Designed Good

The following is a guest post by Katy Gathright. She is the co-founder of Designed Good, a digital marketplace that pairs well-designed products with the stories of their impact. The entire Designed Good team has a crush on bicycles.

At Designed Good, we?ve built an online store for products that blend design with a social impact. 

It?s why we started by putting a bicycle image on our own company T-shirt, made with 100% organic cotton and eco-friendly dyes.

We also love these backpacks by OAK lifestyle. OAK stands for Ordinary Acts of Kindness and when you purchase a bag, a second bag (plus school supplies) is donated to children in Austin, Texas, and Rwanda.

Last fall, we came across something simple that caught our eye: a bike shelf! It's practical and well designed. Plus, the designer fires his wood in solar-powered kilns.
