Long before Facebook, I've taken and posted "wall photos." Maybe it is due to fact that I am more likely to be cycling at 7-10 mph than at a 20-25 mph clip. You notice walls at casual pace.Their lines. Their textures. The way the light plays with them.
Walls make excellent photo subjects. They stand still. They never tire. And they don't even mind if you lean your bicycle against them while you find just the right angle.
